Sophie has been an amazing and supportive personal trainer. Not only are our weekly sessions challenging but rewarding, she also helps me plan my own work outs during the rest of the week. Most importantly, she's excellent when it comes to adjusting exercises when it comes to preexisting health issues, and has worked alongside my physio to help me completely turn around a chronic shoulder injury, and now my shoulder is better than ever.

I read the other reviews on here before choosing a PT, all of which are overwhelmingly positive, and thought surely no one can be that good. But the truth is that she absolutely is! I have no hesitation in recommending her.

 

I particularly value how she is able to tailor each exercise to the goals we’ve set, explain how each suggestion helps achieve our aims, and provide sufficient motivation to ensure I actually achieve them. Our sessions together are varied and fun, with Sophie fully engaged in each one. As well as becoming fitter and stronger I am also learning a lot about exercise and physiology which will be useful in the years to come.

 

Over the several months we’ve been working together so far, I have seen strong evidence of substantial improvements in every area that I was hoping to improve.

I hired Sophie to kickstart my exercise and rebuild my strength after multiple abdominal surgeries. I felt my core was very weak and I had no confidence in my body strength or movement. I also had knee issues which had further reduced my confidence.

 

Sophie supported me by giving me physio type exercises to build up my core strength and to help me to use my knees well. She also gave me a daily exercise plan and nutrition coaching. She gave me tailored exercises to do in sessions.

 

Sophie's support was unique as she was able to support me with recovery like a physio would and helped me build confidence in using my body again. Sophie has been teaching me how to eat sustainably without dieting and I love her approach. She was gentle but also challenging which is perfect for me after surgery.

 

I liked the fact that Sophie's service was tailored to my needs. It felt like she was a knowledgeable expert and the exercises have worked powerfully to improve my fitness. Sophie is like an "all in one" solution as she was like my PT, nutrition and physio rolled into one so she is very good value!

 

It has been an amazing experience. I would recommend Sophie to anyone. It's amazing having someone to stand by your side and take a holistic and realistic look at how you can improve health and fitness.

 

I would recommend Sophie to anyone, but especially women who want to get back feeling strong after c-sections or hysterectomy, people with knee issues or yo-yo dieters who want to get off the diet bandwagon and start to find a sustainable way to be healthy.

I consider myself so lucky to have Sophie as my PT. Having had a major diagnosis, side effects of treatment and having had to take extra precautions in the covid pandemic, I needed someone who was knowledgeable, professional, flexible and understanding.  Sophie's assessment of my PT needs was spot on. Her approach is quite scientific and she always has a proper thought out reason for any exercise that she proposes and correlates that with what I am trying to achieve.  She quantifies the improvements made with objective data, which is really helpful and encourages me to do more.  I couldn't recommend her enough!

I started a few months ago and I am so glad I did. Due to my medical condition of struggling when my body gets overactive, exercise became a fear and travelling to and fro the gym is not an option for me. Sophie came to my house and we had a conversation about what I would like to achieve - Confidence, losing weight and feeling stronger. 

 

Sophie has helped me with all of these. Sophie has made an exercise plan for me and she adapts some exercises to suit my body’s capabilities which is something you can only get with a one to one personal trainer. Sophie checks in with me regularly and encourages healthy eating, and has simplified calorie counting for me. Sophie uses positive affirmations, is a great listener, understands exactly what I need and help me to achieve it.

I started working with Sophie in August last year with goals to lose weight, become stronger and take charge of my health. As someone with health issues I wanted support to ensure I could keep progressing, but doing so safely. Sophie has been great at adapting the programme to really suit me and my situation, taking a holistic view to ensure I can achieve goals within my lifestyle and pushes me to achieve.

I loved that we worked towards goals that were achievable, allowing me to feel motivated to continue and progress even further. I have lost weight, cms, but gained muscle and feel a lot healthier and stronger for it. Also as someone who has never really enjoyed exercising, I've found some new things I enjoy and Sophie works hard to tailor the sessions to make them both fun and effective.
